I would return the favor and purchase though his Amazon Account as I don't get the discount if I use my own. But I do not have any credit cards any longer and so can't buy from Amazon myself. If I do it will go on my wife's credit card and I don't do that unless it is an emergency-like I'm out of underwear... I will have to see if I can apply the gift card credit or if the gift card has been spent...

Budde, I had no idea you got a "kickback" from amazon this way. Does it work on amazon.ca too? I bought a dandy Ingersoll Rand air impact wrench from amazon.ca this winter so I guess I could have been on your list too. Next time maybe.

The amazon associates program is not a big money maker. However, I don't really promote it. I think it would be better with targeted Amazon keywords. So, if I talked about stereos or water heaters then adverts for those items would appear.
ReplyDeleteAlso, since what I buy does not count, I should buy from Zeta Woof, he buys from me and well all make an effort to buy from each other.
Amazon has everything!
They have a better deal on mp3's than iTunes, and they are not Apple!.
On the other hand you should also support your local hardware store...IF you have one left!
