Click Here to better understand the author of this blog. When i was a kid I read these comics in the Oregon Farmer and for some reason took the fellow as an inspiration and not as a cautionary tale.
I guess it explains a lot about my success as a farmer...

Yeah, I was over at Ralph's blog a few minutes ago. I think your hero was a wise man!
ReplyDeleteYou've got the right idea! If Ed is in favor of things like horizontal fracking, he will find out that, that kind of prosperity comes with a high price. There are folks that can actually light the gas coming out of their faucets. While this might be a plus for running a home power plant, I think I'd rather have good water. Although we currently have more than we need here.
ReplyDeleteHa,ha, thanks Budde. If I'd known 45 years ago that there would be so much interest in this old cartoon I guess I might have saved more of them. Just a lack of foresight I guess.
ReplyDeleteGorge, I like Ralph's blog
ReplyDeleteMuddy, However, if Ed was renting your farm instead of I, you would be making a lot more money. He would make it work.
Ralph, It you use our little blog network as a judge of popular opinion you tend to get things just a little skewed.
