The view out the window is great.
We are staying in as inexpensive a hotel as we could find.
It's not bad.
You have to take out your own trash and ate still supposed to tip the house keeper.
The dryer is broken.
WiFi works within 25 feet of office.
When all the kids are playing minecradt at the pool it gets pretty slow.
But there is a pool and WiFi and two BBQ spots and our window opens on the beach.
A couple kids were fishing for sharks. First they reeled in a crab pot. Instead of towing it back out with their kayak they dumped it on the beach. Actually do-good er tourists dumped it out. Three crabs and a catfish.
At 4 am they caught a huge shark and much excitement ensued.
We stayed up and watched the ball on TV. I forgot to buy fireworks. We watched a few on the beach.
I'm starting to lose my thrill. Everything is too expensive. I want to paddle board but I object to $100 for the two of us. Sure it's twice in a lifetime.... but....
Yea!
Happy Nude Year!
The older I get, the more I learn that most situations in life can be covered by the words, "BAH! HUMBUG!"

DeleteWell at least it is not raining or snowing there. Or here either for that matter. So far, so good.
ReplyDeleteIt's the small moments of happiness
DeleteI used to catch & eat small sharks. Better them than me.
ReplyDeleteHow did they taste
DeleteLike shark, not chicken surprisingly enough. :-) Strange distinctive flavor. Not my favorite fish. Lived on a boat, They would catch themselves at night. Still cold & sunny here.
Deletei really wanted you to say "like chicken", Muddy... i really really did.
