I repeat this mantra every day. "Free tuition, good health insurance, retirement..."
There really is no point in mowing the soccer field which was watered so late it won't dry out till spring as they can't play on it anyway.
I go a work order to dry it out. Really...

DeleteI have planted the random tomato or pepper plant in the flowerbed. Have some pumpkins growing behind the indoor tennis courts.
Borrow your wife's hair dryer and a long extension cord. It is the way they do it in California.

I sprayed the spot with a wetting agent to make the water absorb faster, then it started raining. Monday will be amusing.
DeleteI used to live in a snooty little town where the realtors would hire a company to come and spray (paint) the grass a lovely green color when it went up for sale. Weird...
