Someone said it will be a,good year for the roses.
I replied, "the lawn could stand a little mowing, funny I don't seem to care."

To change the subject a bit. I pruned a plant called winter creeper," last week.
For the life of me I can't remember what the plant looked like, I just think of yoga pants...

DeleteI really wish the ability to quote slightly obscure song lyrics for nearly any occasion was a marketable skill.
ReplyDeleteHadn't heard that one in a while, and the last time I did was probably in a 70's era tractor cab. Listening now on earbuds I was struck by how simple the music was and how powerful the imagery of the lyrics is. I don't think there's anything like it out there in modern music......but I'm preaching to the choir.
As you turn and walked away, as the door behind you closes..
DeleteI disliked country music until elvis Costello put out Almost Blue which had all the good country songs on it. The ones you could only hear on KLOO, KFAT to you youngsters...
your jimpacking must be wearing off...
ReplyDeleteI took prune juice for that...
