The lift wheels started pushing mud. If I get a big enough tractor and get it out in one pull then it will seem easy. If I don't get it in one pull then the next thing you know the tractor is also stuck and the drill is buried asbuddeshepherdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10747323705664619491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8527757877422839218.post-25141292571401246732010-11-24T19:34:27.946-08:002010-11-24T19:34:27.946-08:00Budde, you are right, it does not look to be stuck...Budde, you are right, it does not look to be stuck too bad. Maybe just unhitch the drill and drive the tractor out? Have a look at how we do it in Sask. When some guys get stuck they are in real deep. <br />http://www.stuckinthemuck.com/allphotos.phpRalph Goffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04873610891410100788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8527757877422839218.post-46231151422633205982010-11-24T19:14:44.009-08:002010-11-24T19:14:44.009-08:00Gorges, Dadgummit, if I didn't find the one we...Gorges, Dadgummit, if I didn't find the one wet spot in the whole 60 acres. I walked on either side of a ten foot square and it was solid. I didn't leave tracks going in, I just sunk. Of course now I'm scared of the field and will probably quit and go home. I'd be planting right now if I'd have just skipped that one section!buddeshepherdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10747323705664619491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8527757877422839218.post-65515828914839449242010-11-24T19:08:19.065-08:002010-11-24T19:08:19.065-08:00We used to do a lot of our winter work of a mornin...We used to do a lot of our winter work of a morning before the ground thawed and then work around the sawmill in the afternoon. You stirred up some memories for me there. Once in a while we'd work a bit too long and end up in situations similar to yours, though it wasn't from planting.Gorges Smythehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08777621500611603786noreply@blogger.com
