Once delivered to a Chicken farm in Wilsonville that is completly surrounded by fancy housing developments with roundabouts. A 53 ft. trailer will just fit if you use both sidewalks.G706https://www.blogger.com/profile/03956852055757936068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8527757877422839218.post-82552569440014135112010-08-07T09:19:06.584-07:002010-08-07T09:19:06.584-07:00Orin-I am impressed. The sides of the 2 lane "freeway" were narrow, high walls of concrete. No shoulder on the road and no breathing room. It was white-knuckle driving at the end of a 15 hour day. My on-board GPS was responsible for the decision. I quit taking its advice when it told me to thefrumpyhousewifenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8527757877422839218.post-32601806797405909742010-08-06T22:38:29.000-07:002010-08-06T22:38:29.000-07:00You be the judge. I wound up going over the Steel bridge and into chinatown. One of the problems with not raising wheat for 7 years I suppose. That single lane of the bridge seemed about 6' wide.

It seemed wierd being in that part of town Orin Nusbaumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15866830808570707036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8527757877422839218.post-56279403820478690222010-08-06T21:52:04.399-07:002010-08-06T21:52:04.399-07:00Frumpyhousewife person, the daughter is pretty ama...Frumpyhousewife person, the daughter is pretty amazing. She kind of scares me.
Orin, So you drove a set of doubles down Broadway? You need a stiff drink or therapy or prayer or something. Hope you got $6!
I have no idea what happened to David Ball. I think the tape I have was copied of the KFAT album preview show from a few years ago. His "David Ball" album was really good with quite a few of the tracks getting lots of airplay, then a few years later he put out "Riding With Private Malone", then nothing.

Your mention of bearings reminds me of a funny story from the Nusbaum operation about 15 years ago.
