A Robot for Collieguy

I have to rescan drawings for you. I tend to loose them. Here is the robot baler you suggested a while back. The sermon ended before I finished and I kind of misjudged the page size.

  1. It reminds me of this French comic describing the latest combine: "At the front, it harvests the grain and bales the hay on the side, and at the back, it tills the soil and sows the grain it just harvested. They're still working on it..."

  2. Then the surviving robots went up to Portland and started a band called "Hardware Disease". Dead cow logo.

  3. Chimel, As someone who owns AGCO equipment I can safely say, if it is a French combine I am sure they are still "working on it."

Collieguy, that is actually a good band name. Is there a genre for "death banjo old time music?" Actually there is, it is called "bluegrass." I've wondered what the absolutely most depressing bluegrass tune is. Country music would have to be Wilf Carter's "Born to Lose." Country music would be that one where the cowboy dies with his horse 50ft from Merry Ann's house in the blizzard. Just because of the long drawn out suffering involved.
    Or anything from the Ledge...

  4. I always thought "blood on the saddle" was the most depressing old time cowboy song.

  5. Least I forget, Who is going to repair the robots which will surely break down, or get stuck in the mud?

  6. When they get broken and depressed, they lie around behind the barn drinking WD-40 and writing unintelligible Death Banjo songs. Picture the Ledge with artificial intelligence short circuited.
